Three more awards for my icons, and one is even for First Place!
I still don't know what else to do with these, and I'm too proud to not show them...
Also, the banners made by starry_night are gorgeous, aren't they? Challenge #70 was '100' - icons for episode 100 of either BtVS or ATS, hence the tower platform in the background.

Congrats!!! I never know what to do with the banners either. Some people display them on their profile page. When I first started winning banners, I was too embarrassed to show them off or display them on my profile page. I did make an album in my photobucket where I keep them and I have a link to the album in my icon journal. I have to say, having the banners all in one place is helpful when you want a quick look at the progress you have made as an artist. I look at my early icons and I cringe.

It's really a wonder that people even went on reading this. And I guess I'm gonna feel the same way with my first icons (provided that I'll make any progress), even though I'm so proud of them now...

I'm totally embarrassed, too. I even had some words about it in the entry, but deleted them, cause I thought this was even more 'fishing for compliments' than posting them appears to be in the first place. Which is bad enough. But I don't want to have it vanished into the ether as if never received, so...

Maybe putting them on the profile page isn't such a bad idea after all...

I forgot that I recently changed the layout for my icon journal and when you change your journal you have to reload the links. So thank you for tell me. I just put the link back up on both my personal lj and my icon journal.

There are so many awards because I've been entering challenges since 2009.

No wonder, your work is wonderful! Thank you but it wasn't always. In the beginning I didn't do very good with coloring and I never used textures. It took me a while to get where I am today and I still have tons more improving to go.

Congrats! Well you should display them. There is a difference between showing off and being proud of what you've accomplished. Your icons are really beautiful! Sims aren't your thing but I'd be happy if you had a look at my latest Spike. Sadly enough he is not my own creation, I just modified a sim someone else had created - but he is a handsome devil, if I may say so myself. ;-)

I think modifying may be as hard as starting from scratch, sometimes harder. That's why I sometimes, when I fiddled too long with a part I have written, throw it all in the bin and start anew, and then it usually gets much better. The same with icons, btw.
And your sims look great! (Can I say that I like your Angel bette than the real one???)
